Job Description:
Administer computing and networking equipment for a multi server 24x7 Internet Web site.

Skills required:
- Unix and Linux system administration, performance troubleshooting and tuning - Shell and/or Perl scripting
- Implementation and use of jumpstart
- Monitoring for security vulnerabilities in a web server env.
- Applying patches
- NIS
- SSH
- sendmail
- User account mgmt
- DNS pointing
- Administration of firewalls, routers, switches, load balancers
- Application, os and network monitoring
- Administration of apache and mysql a plus
- Administration of Microsoft servers a plus, but not required

Job Description:
The Listing Editor reviews incoming orders (search listings) from clients, through our editorial processing system, and determines whether the search terms are relevant to the Web site, are in compliance with R2 System's Advertising Policies, corrects any spelling and/or grammatical errors, and may rewrite titles and descriptions to enhance relevancy.

Skills required:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to make logical, consistent judgments in relevancy and policy matters
- Current computer skills including familiarity with Windows and MS Office applications (word processing, spreadsheet and database programs)
- Bachelor's degree, English or Japanese major preferred
- Copy editing, journalism and/or copy writing experience is preferred
- Knowledge and experience of the Internet, search engines and browsers, preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential
- Japanese and English fluency required -- both written and verbal.
